His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs in the caretaker government, Dr. Hector Al-Hajjar, accompanied by his advisor, Prof. Michel Al-Hajjar, and the expert in the Ministry, Prof. Adel Al-Shabab, visited Sela's strategic sustainable development projects, 'Khoyout Factory' and 'Sustainable Development Kitchen – Themarouna.' Sela's Executive Director, Mrs. Amal Hassan, welcomed them along with the Project Manager, Mrs. Sultana Jumaa, and Production Manager, Mrs. Asmaa Al-Shalabi.

His Excellency began his tour at Khoyout Factory, where he was briefed on the factory's departments, courses, and services provided to women and young females. He continued his visit at Themarouna Kitchen, which Sela opened at the beginning of 2023, touring its facilities, including the training hall and production department. Minister Hajjar praised the humanitarian and development work by the Sela Association to empower women through its projects, stressing the necessity of networking and partnership between the Ministry of Social Affairs and Sela.
