A Series of Visits to Several NGOs in Turkey
At the beginning of July 2019, Mrs. Amal Hassan, Director of Sela, visited several Turkey NGOs. First, she visited the Hayat Yolu Association and met its Executive Director, Dr. Hatem Aweidah. During the meeting, she presented Sela's achievements, including Ramadan projects under Linked Campaign, women empowerment projects, seasonal and social projects that Sela seeks to implement in the future.
Mrs. Hasan presented an embroidered gift made by Khoyout Factory to Dr. Hatem, and he offered a symbolic gift to Sela, expressing his gratitude for the continuous work and cooperation.
Mrs. Amal Hassan continued her visits to "IKADDER," where the two NGOs introduced themselves. IKADDER expressed its willingness to cooperate with Sela by providing educational sessions for women in their work field.
Then she met Mr. Hakki Egon, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hayrat Humanitarian Aid Association.
Mrs. Hasan presented Sela's programs, goals and projects, and Mr. Egon introduced the assistance and services that Hayrat provides. He expressed enthusiasm to cooperate through Sela's Seasonal relief projects.
Mrs. Amal ended her tour by visiting The Union of NGOs of The Islamic World, IDSB, represented by its Secretary-General, Mr. Ali Kart.
Mr. Kart welcomed Sela as a member of the union and helped Sela network with Turkish organizations, as he expressed anticipation for future cooperation.
Mrs. Hasan presented an embroidered gift produced by the Khoyout factory to Mr. Kart.
