Spending Ramadan by Their Side
As part of the seasonal campaign "Linked, "Sela has implemented two relief projects called Ramadan Is A Blessing and Gathered Around the Table in certain Lebanese regions.
Sela provided suhur meals (Ramadan Is A Blessing) to several women in Saida and its vicinity.
Plus, two iftar gatherings funded by The Muslim community in Belgium within the framework of Gathered Around the Table Project, targeting 350 people in Sar Badda Foundation and Iman Residential Complex.
On International Family Day 5/15, Sela and its volunteers invited two families, to an iftar, in an atmosphere full of dignity and humanity.
Gathered Around the Table Project extended its reach to more beneficiaries in Saida its vicinity by offering ready-to-cook food parcels. Which contains (Moghrabieh, hummus, kebbeh, peas, shishbarak) that were prepared by self-employed women who have been part of "Shu-Zaki/Yummy Kitchen Project."
"Shu-Zaki/Yummy Kitchen Project" aims to empower women.
In the end, Sela concluded Gathered Around the Table Project in Tyre by providing food parcels containing (legumes, oil, salt) for several women, funded by Rahma Association – Austria.
Sela concluded its campaign by implementing Eid Clothing Project in cooperation with Khoyout factory targeting several children in all Lebanese regions.
Through Ramadan Projects, Sela seeks to provide vulnerable women with basic needs, relieve their burden, and spread happiness among their families with various food on their tables and express love towards their children by offering Eid cloth.
