16 Projects End in 2017
She is a woman in her 40s and owns a small business to secure an income for a family of 4 children. Her husband does not work regularly, but he is always searching for a job.
Leen’s mother used to get money from selling wild herbs found in the mountains to battle poverty. However, that small amount of money never saved her from poverty.
One day, she found Sela’s Microcredits Project, which targets people who have a difficult financial situation. After applying, Sela gave her a small loan, and she decided to open a mini-market. Leen’s mother stated that she might have never been able to change her life without the loan nor provide her family with their basic needs or even put a smile on their faces.
This example is one of many other stories that suffer along with their families from a difficult financial situation, health problems and mental stress.
Sela has granted 16 women small loans within the Microcredits Project framework from the beginning of 2017 until the end of 2017. As a result, Sela achieved 16 small projects for women and their families.
