Winter Food Supply for Vulnerable Families
When snow falls, it cleanses our world. Vulnerable people frequently repeat this saying at the beginning of each winter.
The cold winter casts additional difficulties upon their work and transportation means between regions. Families start storing food to survive winter (oil, olives, grains, moghrabieh, pickles and others). However, many families cannot afford to keep food for winter due to their difficult financial situation. Therefore, Sela has implemented Winter Food Supply Project during December 2016.
Sela distributed 200 food parcels for the vulnerable people, Syrian refugees (Saida, Beirut, and Beqaa), and Chhim in cooperation with The Social Association.
