On the occasion of the International Day of Families, which falls on May 15, and as part of its ongoing efforts to support families and ease their living burdens, Sela Association launched a special initiative generously funded by Ashraful Aid. The initiative focused on supporting a group of women in Sidon through the distribution of abayas for Eid al-Adha.

This effort was carried out in collaboration with Khoyout Factory, one of the association’s development projects. Women from the local community designed and sewed the abayas, giving the initiative both a humanitarian and developmental dimension by supporting the beneficiaries while also creating income opportunities for the women involved in production.

The association emphasized that this step is part of its continued commitment to empowering families and enhancing their livelihood stability, especially during occasions that place extra financial pressure on households.
