In a world plagued by humanitarian crises and political unrest, women and girls often bear the heaviest burden. Beyond immediate relief, humanitarian aid plays a crucial role in empowering women, fostering independence, and creating sustainable change.

On this Humanitarian Action Day, which embodies the spirit of compassion and solidarity, Sela helped improve Mrs. Nesma’s business, giving her a renewed sense of hope and stability.

Mrs. Nesma, a 38-year-old widow and mother, lost her husband and had to return to her family home with no source of income. She worked alongside her father in his small grocery store, but due to limited resources and food supplies, they struggled to sustain and grow the business.

With the generous support of a philanthropist from Qatar, Sela expanded their project by providing essential food supplies, enabling them to generate a stable income and build a secure future. Through this initiative, Mrs. Nesma and her family can now live with dignity, self-sufficiency, and hope.

This effort reflects Sela’s ongoing commitment to supporting vulnerable women, helping them transition from hardship to empowerment, and ensuring sustainable solutions that uplift entire communities.
