Sela Provides Aid to Displaced and Vulnerable Families Amid the War on Lebanon

01 Oct 2024

As the war in Lebanon continues, countless families have been forced to flee conflict zones in search of safety. Many have taken refuge in the homes of relatives and friends, while others have sought shelter in schools and public facilities repurposed as temporary housing.

With the rising number of displaced individuals, the demand for basic necessities—such as food, water, medicine, and clothing—has become increasingly urgent. These essentials are critical in sustaining daily life and protecting families from the devastating effects of the conflict.

In response to this crisis, and as part of its humanitarian mission, Sela Association has stepped in to support displaced families in Sidon and its surrounding areas. The association has provided essential aid, including hot meals, breakfast for displaced individuals in schools, and household and personal hygiene kits, helping to alleviate some of the hardships faced by those affected.
