The Warmth of Winter Cloth
Beyond the biting cold of Lebanon’s winter and its distressing economic situation lie vulnerable female breadwinners along with their families. Therefore, Sela has implemented Winter Clothing Project as part of Warm Homeland Campaign- winter 2020 funded by KNRP- Indonesia, targeting 243 women and 304 children based in Saida Old Town and Tripoli. Children’s winter share of cloth included a shirt, pants and pajamas while women received abaya (Islamic cloak).
