Medical Devices Funded by IICO
Lebanon is witnessing alarming health conditions. Medical bills are costly, which portends a tragic situation, especially in light of the economic and financial collapse that Lebanon has been suffering since late 2019. The matter has become more difficult due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its negative repercussions on all levels, especially the health sector.
Based on this challenging reality that families in Lebanon suffer from, and within the framework of the Nada social program, Sela offered 3 medical devices across 3 Lebanese regions: Saida, Tyre, and Beirut, with generous funding from the International Islamic Charity Organization - Kuwait, under the project "Equipping Medical Centers with Medical Devices" implemented in 3 deserving clinics.
1- IMMERSIBLE VIDEO GASTROSCOPE is now affordable to all patients at a low cost in a clinic in Beirut.
2- A DIGITAL PANORAMIC device through which radiological images and early diagnoses are accessible for all patients in a clinic in Saida.
3- ULTRASOUND UNIT- CHISON5 PROBES is now available at a low cost in a clinic in Tyre.
Sela aims to reduce the financial burden on patients, contribute to the early detection of diseases, and assist in maintaining health through this project.
