The fluctuation of the Lebanese Lira against the US Dollar has affected food prices in Lebanon and increased the burden on families as the urgent need for food-related projects rises. These projects can support displaced and vulnerable families to secure their basic needs away from the financial obligation.

Therefore, the Food Parcels Project is a necessity and urgent during Ramadan since this month requires the availability of basic foodstuffs to achieve mental and financial stability among beneficiaries.

The parcel contains daily foodstuffs to serve one family of 5 persons for the whole month of Ramadan. Sela implemented the Food Parcels Project targeting multiple families in Saida with generous funds offered by the Balad Alkhair Society -
