Winter Clothing Funded by International Islamic Charity Organization

29 Dec 2021

Vulnerable families have to welcome a demanding guest (winter) with humble equipment and preparations that do not protect them from cold and rain leakage into their barely standing homes or tents.

Based on the third goal of the SDGs (good health and well-being), Sela implemented its seasonal relief project “Warmth,” which aims to protect vulnerable families, women, and their children from the freezing cold, prevent diseases, as well as alleviate the financial burden on their families. Thus, Sela provided winter clothes for 430 families: for women (scarf, winter cloak, and pajamas) and children (sweater, jacket, pajamas, scarf and hat, 12 socks, and gloves) and two blankets for each family.

The Warmth project is funded by the generosity of the International Islamic Charity Organization, a source of warmth and safety for these women and their children.

They brought warmth to their winter and made it full of goodness and blessing.
