Sela Welcomes a Large Number of Milk Formulas from Kuwait
Lebanon is facing its worst economic crisis in history, which led to a lack of milk formulas, medicine, and a high cost of living.
Sela called out the humanitarians to join Sela’s hand through its relief project in response to the challenging situation. Qawafel org for relief and development answered Sela’s call by providing milk formulas donated by Kuwaiti people. The organization shipped 6 tons of milk formulas (approx. 15,000 formulas) by air by the Kuwait Air Forces. Sela welcomed them at Rafic Hariri International Airport in collaboration with the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Lebanon.
Sela delivered the formulas in most Lebanese areas as five per child, reaching 3,000 children under the umbrella of the Dania relief program aiming to provide women and children with their needs.
