The Arab Fund Sponsored 100 University Students (Scholarships)
Sela and ISCO provided scholarships sponsored by The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development for 100 vulnerable Palestinian refugee students from Lebanon as part of the Go-Ahead Project. Also, Sela held a ceremony to honor the students. The ceremony included speeches from Sela, ISCO, and Aya (a beneficiary).
Sela and ISCO aimed to support the Palestinian students to complete their educational journey by paying a part of their tuition and providing their needs such as books, transportation, and others. These scholarships promote the right to equality in higher education among all students and contribute to alleviating the financial burden on the vulnerable Palestinian students’ families. Moreover, this scholarship helps reduces their mental stress. This project plays a role in the fields of human development and the economic cycle of Lebanon.
Sela and ISCO followed specific criteria to select the beneficiaries, including their educational level, families’ financial state, and income source.
Go Ahead is an educational project implemented by Sela and the ISCO International Foundation sponsored by the Arab Fund. It is part of the Ola- academic training program, which provides a financial guarantee for three months targeting 100 Palestinian students receiving their education in Lebanese universities.
