Sela held a graduation ceremony for the students of the 2024 Thread Rolls Hand Embroidery Course under the patronage of Sidon Mayor Dr. Hazem Badieh, with generous support from the Adara Foundation – Indonesia.

The ceremony featured a speech by Mrs. Sultana Jumaa, Programmes and Projects Officer at Sela, who highlighted the association’s achievements in promoting community development and empowering women through its various initiatives. She expressed gratitude to the Adara Foundation for their valuable support and for providing the students with an embroidery machine and supplies.

Mrs. Maryam Rahmayani, Director of the Adara Foundation, also thanked Sela and the trainers for the success of the course, emphasizing the value and impact of such programs.

Mrs. Wafaa Shuaib, representing Sidon Mayor Dr. Hazem Badieh, congratulated the graduates, encouraged them to keep developing their skills and pursuing their goals, and welcomed efforts that uplift women in the community.

One of the graduates, Safaa, shared her happiness at completing the course and expressed her appreciation for the practical and theortical experience she and her peers gained.

The ceremony concluded with a video showcasing the course journey and the students’ graduation.
