International Humanitarian Day; The Vulnerable Children

19 Aug 2019
The fruit does not grow unless the seed is planted in the ground and nurtured slowly. Likewise, children need space to live their innocent childhood and secure a future befitting them. Therefore, Sela built a bridge to reach vulnerable children to support them from the beginning.
On International Humanitarian Day, Sela reassures that caring for vulnerable children is one of its top missions. Sela and its volunteers visited several places in Saida and its vicinity on Monday, August 19, 2019, where tens of children of all ages work as part of the Save Me A Spark Campaign to reduce the phenomenon of child labor.
Sela distributed gifts and sweets for these children and asked them about the reasons behind leaving school to help enroll them back in school as they always dreamed after being forced to drop out and support their families.
