In cooperation with Civil Council Against Addiction, Sela organized an awareness session titled “Raising Awareness is the Best Prevention” on Monday, 7/15/2019, targeting women at the Civil Council center in Saida.

Prof. Wedad Al-Sebaa, project manager of the council, presented the session. First, she started with an ice-breaking activity (self-introduction), and then she introduced the Civil Council and its role in raising awareness about addiction. She also explained the definition of addiction, its causes, symptoms, methods of prevention and the medical/psychology treatment that the center provides to the patient. Addiction is not limited to drugs and has many other shapes (Internet, smoking, phones, social media platforms).
