On World Refugee Day
The refugee women in camps face the same issues that citizens in slums and rural villages confront within Lebanon.
The suffering is not limited to seeking refuge and displacement but is also connected to the high cost of living, unemployment, poor economic conditions, and the increasing US Dollar exchange rate against the Lebanese Pound.
On World Refugee Day, Sela wanted to bring the light back into the life of a refugee woman and her family and provide economic, social, and psychological support.
As part of the Dania & Raghad Relief/Economic Programs, Sela provided house supplies and necessities to a Palestinian refugee woman and paid her electricity bill for one month.
She has the right to live in dignity, enjoy her rights, and lead a decent life.
