Sela organized its 3rd Charity Iftar (Ramadan 2018) on Wednesday, 23/5/2018. Several officials attended the Iftar, including the Minister of State for Women, Jean Ogasabian, represented by Ms. Randa Yassir, the Director of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Judge Abdullah Ahmad, represented by Mrs. Hiam Abdelnabi, Maysam Mohammad representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Besides schools' principals and members, charitable organizations and social institutions, religious centers, civil society organizations, and close associations.

Mrs. Amal Hasan, the Director of Sela, started the Iftar by welcoming the attendees and introducing Sela's Achievements and Ramadan's projects of 2018 for the audience. She explained how tragic reality is for the vulnerable families in Lebanon, especially for those who have lost their breadwinner and depend on the nickels and dimes that the wives gain—drawing attention to their difficult situation and the importance of supporting the vulnerable women and their families.

The 2nd segment of the Iftar included a film screening of Sela's annual Achievements and projects of Ramadan. Then, two talented girls recited a poem about a girl who wishes to change vulnerable people's bitter reality.

In the end, Sela's kids performed on stage and distributed gifts for the attendees.
