Mothers are the excellent teachers of humanity and the 1st love for their children. To the world, she is a mother, but to her family, she is the world.

Mother-in-chief is the most important job of all. Therefore, Sela organized a charity breakfast, in celebration of Mother’s Day, funded by the Palestinian Woman Association in Austria. Sela invited many mothers to the breakfast at Nakroushi Restaurant on 30/3/2019 in Saida.

After welcoming the attendees, Ms. Sultana Jumaa introduced Sela’s programs, projects and primary role. She explained that Sela is interested in social and psychological support and aims to empower women to develop their skills. She also emphasized how important it is to honor the mothers on such a great occasion considering their efforts and role in society.

The breakfast included a poetry segment praising the mothers recited by Ms. Sara Akoum, a volunteer at Sela, and some enthusiast attendees. In the end, Sela distributed chocolates and veils/Hijabs for elderlies.
