Graduation Ceremony for the Trainees of Khoyout Factory- 2019

Sela held a graduation ceremony for the trainees of Khoyout Factory's training of 2019 "Sewing and Fashion Designing Course" and "Thread Rolls" with the presence of the parliamentarian Bahia Hariri, represented by Prof. Maaden Al-Sharif, schools' principals, directors of associations, charitable, social and civil society organizations, educational institutions, and close organizations based in Saida and Beirut. The ceremony included an impressive performance in celebration of the Lebanese Independence Day 76th anniversary held on 11/29/2019 in Khan El-Franj in Saida.

First, the Lebanese national anthem was played. Then, Ms. Sultana Jumaa delivered a speech introducing the training that Khoyout Factory provides for women to empower them and create social inclusion. She also stated Sela's achievements for the past four years, emphasizing on Khoyout factory. She congratulated the trainees for completing their training and reminded them of the importance of contributing to their society and country, considering that Lebanese Independence Day is an opportunity to inspire such actions. Finally, she thanked the Palestine Charity Committee for funding the Sewing and Fashion Designing Course and providing modern machines for each trainee.

Sela screened a film documenting the training stages for both courses "Sewing and Fashion Designing Course" and "Thread Rolls" in 2019. After that, trainee Fatima Zubeidat, from the Sewing and Fashion Designing Course, delivered a speech on behalf of the trainees. She expressed how proud she is to be here and explains how necessary this training was, emphasizing the skills that she had acquired through the theoretical and practical lessons that have been going over the past six months. 

The ceremony was highlighted by a fashion show for traditional national costumes manufactured by Khoyout Factory.

Another trainee called Amal, from Thread Rolls Course, delivered a speech on behalf of the trainees. She expressed her gratitude towards Khoyout Factory for creating this opportunity to discover their talents and develop their skills to support their families by starting an embroidery business. 

Sela's kids (Pretty Flowers Performance Group) performed on the stage, expressing their love and patriotism towards Lebanon.

Finally, the trainees of 2019 from both training received their graduation certificates and gifts. Then, Sela honored Khoyout Factory's Production Manager Mrs. Asmaa Al-Shalabi and asked the attendees to look at the costumes and embroideries made by the trainees during the training.
