Back to School Campaign

In line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, Quality Education, and in response to the difficult circumstances that threaten to deprive many children of their right to continue their education, Sela is launching the “Back to School Campaign 2025.”

The campaign includes two relief projects — the School Bag Project and the School Uniform Project — aimed at enabling children to begin their school year with hope, free from feelings of exclusion or inadequacy. These projects also help ease the financial burden on families and support students’ mental and social well-being by ensuring a minimum level of dignity and educational equity.

Goals

Objectives:

  1. Provide 1,000 children with school bags and stationery, and 500 orphaned and underprivileged children with school uniforms.
  2. Alleviate the economic burden on low-income families and empower them to send their children to school without worry.
  3. Promote access to education and reduce school dropouts caused by financial hardship.
  4. Support the principle of educational equity by ensuring equal opportunities for all students at the start of the school year.
  5. Boost students’ confidence and sense of belonging by providing them with proper school supplies, positively influencing their academic performance and classroom engagement.
