Winter Campaign

During winter, the need for warmth becomes a pressing necessity, especially for displaced and vulnerable families.

Lebanon is among the countries facing significant challenges in this regard. Many families lack adequate winter clothing to shield themselves from the bitter cold. Children are especially vulnerable, as exposure increases the risk of illnesses such as colds and pneumonia. Women — particularly widows and female breadwinners — often struggle to provide winter essentials for their families, adding to their daily hardships and deepening their suffering.

Through its Winter Campaign, Sela aims to meet the urgent needs of these families by providing winter clothing for women, children, and men, along with essential heating supplies.

Goals

  1. Provide winter clothing to 900 individuals, including women, children, and men, from disadvantaged and displaced families across Lebanon.
  2. Protect vulnerable families from the harsh effects of cold weather and help prevent cold-related illnesses.
  3. Ease the financial burden on struggling households during the winter season.
